Starting a comparison
How a comparison starts depends on the specification type. Product specifications are evaluated by AI against public sources. Service specifications collect answers directly from service providers. Both flows produce a Compatibility Score for each candidate.
Starting a product comparison
From the comparison table, click Start Verification in the bottom toolbar. The AI analyses public sources for each product and fills in cells one by one as Yes, Partial, No, or Not Found. The progress bar on each column shows the completion status. You can keep working in the table while verification runs.
Starting a service comparison
Service specifications don't use AI verification. From the discovery view, each provider panel has a Compare Service button that adds the provider to the comparison and sends them an invitation.
Invited providers appear as columns with an hourglass icon until they respond. Each column header shows the invitation status: Opened, Completed, or Pending. A status strip at the bottom summarises progress ("N completed, M pending") alongside the Report button.
Compatibility score
Once a comparison completes, each candidate gets a Compatibility Score at the top of its column. The score is calculated from each requirement's label and its weight.
For products, labels come from AI verification. For services, labels come from provider answers (Yes, Partial, No). A high score means the candidate covers most of your requirements; a low score means important items are missing or only partially met.
Re-running a comparison
In a product comparison, you can re-run verification at any time — after adjusting weights, editing requirements, or adding new products. Only the changed rows and new columns are re-evaluated.
In a service comparison, use Invite to add more providers; their columns stay pending until they respond.
